LabConnect Expands Global Expertise, Appoints China Operations Leader

Johnson City, TN, August 12, 2025 – LabConnect is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Yuzhu Guo as Director of Site Operations for China. An accomplished clinical research executive with experience across the life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, and clinical research sectors, Dr. Guo’s hiring underscores LabConnect’s commitment to expanding its global footprint and strengthening partnerships across key Asia-Pacific markets, following on the opening of LabConnect’s Australian office in April of this year.

With a specialized focus on APAC market expansion, particularly in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, Dr. Guo brings a proven history of securing strategic partnerships, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and supporting clinical study awards in the region. Prior to joining LabConnect, she served as Director of Business Development at Agilex Biolabs, a leading Australian provider of bioanalytical and toxicology services.

Dr. Guo holds a PhD in Natural Sciences from the University of Münster, Germany, and a Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China. During her stay in Germany,  she was also actively engaged in international scientific collaboration and exchange through the Chinesisch-Deutsche Gesellschaft für Translationale Medizin (CDGTM).

LabConnect 荣幸宣布任命郭玉珠博士为中国区运营总监。依据在生命科学、制药、生物技术及临床研究领域的经验，郭博士的加盟彰显了LabConnect在继今年四月设立澳大利亚办事处后，进一步致力于拓展全球业务版图、深化亚太核心市场战略布局的决心。

郭博士专注于亚太市场拓展，尤其专注于中国大陆、香港和台湾地区，在建立战略合作伙伴关系、统筹跨职能协作项目以及推动区域临床研究项目落地等方面拥有丰富的经验。加入LabConnect之前，她曾担任澳大利亚领先的生物分析和毒理学服务提供商Agilex Biolabs的业务发展总监。

郭博士拥有德国明斯特大学自然科学博士学位及中国科学技术大学生物学硕士学位。在德期间，她加入中德转化医学协会（CDGTM）积极推动跨国科研合作与交流。
